Chilli Road, Illogan — Two 2-Bed New-Build Homes

The job was to build two compact two-bedroom homes from the ground up at Chilli Road in Illogan and finish them ready to live in. Two matching houses with clean front elevations, modern doors and windows, open-plan living space inside, a finished kitchen, tiled bathrooms, and usable rear patios.

It's a good example of a complete new build rather than a single trade package — the full job, from the structure and exterior envelope through to the internal finish: kitchen and living areas, bathrooms, hallway and stairs, and the final external presentation of both houses.

Both homes at Chilli Road were built using timber-frame construction and finished in Wildstone. Timber frame gives a fast, accurate structural shell that's well suited to two matching houses built side by side, and the Wildstone finish gives a clean, consistent exterior across both properties.

The work covered the full sequence of a ground-up build: groundworks and foundations, the timber-frame structure, roof, external finish, then the internal fit-out — open-plan living and kitchen space, bathrooms, hallways and stairs — through to a handover-ready finish on both houses.
